Quality and long-lastingness of fragrances primarily depend on the quality of the fragrance oil followed by the concentration level of the oil. Parfum – Around 20% concentration. Lasts all day long. Eau de Parfum (EdP) – 15% or more concentration. Lasts 4 to 5 hours. Eau de Toilette (EdT)/ Parfum de toilette – up to 14% concentration. Lasts 2 to 4 hours. Eau de Cologne (EdC) – 2 to 3% concentration. Lasts about 2 hours. As the percentage concentration decreases, so does the intensity and longevity of the scent.
